Dr. Fawcett has been named as a Top Houston Dentist for the last three consecutive years by H Texas Magazine. He is a native Houstonian
and a graduate of the University of Texas Austin (1980) and the University of Texas Dental School in Houston (1984). He has been practicing in his hometown, Houston, TX, since 1984 and has continued to help raise the standards for quality dental care ever since.
One of the most prestigious awards in dentistry was recently bestowed upon Houston native, Dr. Wayde Fawcett, president of Fawcett Center for Dentistry. Dr. Fawcett was among 157 dentists to be honored with the title “Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), considered to be one of the most respected designations in the profession. Only 2,200 dentists have been awarded this honor from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in its 44-year history. The AGD is the world’s second largest dental association with an active membership of over 35,000. |
Each year Dr. Fawcett takes an average of 100+ hours
of continuing education. He is a firm believer in keeping up with advances
in technology and research and feels his clients “deserve nothing less
than the best care I can possibly give them". In his leisure time, Dr. Fawcett enjoys inline skating,
hiking, cycling, golf and spending time with his wife,
Farhana, and two daughters, Amira and Shayna.
